JAY DUNITZ: PACIFIC LIGHT
(California, Contemporary, Color)
For many years (approximately 10), Jay would send the us announcements to his exhibitions. When his book "Pacific Light" was released he once again sent an announcement, I recognized the his work and decided to visit a local bookstore to the book. It was a spectacular book and I decided it was time to exhibit his work. Fortunately, I kept his announcements and I was able to contact him and set up the show. It was a beautiful exhibition of large Cibachrome prints and as a special event he lectured and demonstrated how he goes about creating his artwork.

One of Christopher Burkett's first gallery exhibitions. This was a very successful exhibition and it was extended for an additional two months. If I recall correctly, we sold something like 65 images and we had a major winter storm over the holidays. Not bad for a relatively new artist and one just starting to show in galleries.
